We uNITED is an 8-piece international band based in Brooklyn, New York. The band was formed in the year of 2022 by a collection of talented and noteworthy musicians with Caribbean backgrounds and a deep love of music, which they all met through. These musicians are influenced by other musicians such as Guns N' Roses, Bob Marley, the Wailers, and Kes, and the band. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses Soca with pyrotechnics and plays all styles. They are impeccable musicians that will make you want to dance all night and vibe with them nonstop. The band is currently working on their new singles called "My Bumpa.” and Paradise riddim featuring various artiste including the bands own Mia and Daria with “Doh look for me" by Mia and “Paradise” by Daria. Daria Primus
Daria Primus, of Vincentian background, was born in St. Vincent. Gifted with a strong, rich, and soulful honey-coated voice, Daria can move the soul of an audience with her emotional energy. Daria fills her time outside of performing with writing and recording. Daria has successfully entertained thousands and her vocals can be heard on tracks by soca sensations like Lyrikal, Fimba, Bomani, Becket, Skinny Fabulous, Problem Child, Sedale, Suppa Mario, and Winston Soso, and a host of others, as well as some reggae artists.
Dashawn Bam Wallace
Dashawn Bam Wallace, aka Drummerboiibam, is of Trinidadian descent, but was born in the United States. Dashawn started playing the steel pan instrument at the tender age of five (5). He then graduated to drums at age twenty (20), influenced by Leon Foster Thomas and mentored by multiple drummers such as Gerion Drummerville Williams. He made his first panorama drumming debut in 2015 with pan sonatas and has won multiple panoramas. In 2021, Bam made his debut as an arranger with Pan Evolution, who he went on to play with after Sonatas in the clacc-c junior. He helped improve his arranging skills with André White, and that year they placed first, and from there on, Bam had a deniable love for music.
Omar McIntosh
Omar McIntosh, of Vincentian ancestry, was born in the United States. The young Maestro, son of Frankie McIntosh, who is also referred to as Maestro, the Genius of the Music World, Omar had played with various bands before. Following in the footsteps of his father, Omar has done amazing production work for Daria, Bomani, Primadonna, Winston Soso, Gary Palmer, and many other artists, including different genres of music, including the popular Rihanna Stay reggae remix. Omar’s live bass can be heard on GBM’s "Bacchanal" and "Scene", also on Island Shak Entertainment’s "Vinyl Riddim". Omar has had the privilege of performing alongside his father a few times. One such memorable event for sesame flyers was when they delivered an evening of pan and jazz. Growing up with one of the most influential arrangers the Caribbean has ever seen has taught Omar a greater love of music.
Devorn Charles
Devorn Charles, of Trinidadian background, puts his all into everything he does, from soccer star to Ableton star. Devorn has mastered Ableton and has backed up many artists, including Patrice Devorn, and he takes control of his ability to make others work to the best of their abilities.
Nolan Bulze
Nolan Bulze is of Vincentian background but was born in St. Vincen. One of the most talented keyboardists you will ever encounter, Noley has been playing keyboards since he was a little boy. He’s so talented that even as a teenager, when he wasn’t even old enough to get into clubs, he was permitted to play in clubs because of his undeniable talent. Noley has shared the stage with many musicians and has backed up artists like Winston Soso, Becket, Fya Empress, Bomani, Skinny Fabulous and many other great artists. Not only is he a keyboardist, but he is also an amazing sound engineer and is responsible for the band’s amazing sound.
Jamelia Brown
Jamelia Brown, who is of Vincentian background, was born in the USA. Over the years, Jamelia has developed her vocal skills by singing on weekends at different gigs. Growing up with her dad, who is a guitarist, has taught her discipline when it comes to music. Jamelia has a vocal style that is out of this world and adds so many flavors to the band.
Walter Bimmadude, Louis W.
Walter Bimmadude, Louis W., who is of Trinidadian background, was born in the USA. Walter started out playing percussion but had a deniable love for music and took his love for music further. Walter got behind the drums and never left. He has had the privilege of backing up artists like Black Stalin, Fayann Lyons, Lyrikal, Skinny Fabulous, and many others. Walter enjoys live music more than his cars, and that means a lot. He cherishes the idea of a live band more than anyone can ever imagine.
Trevor T. James
Trevor T. James, who is of Vincentian background, started playing the recorder in school, then joined the school orchestra. Upon leaving school, he joined a senior steel orchestra for five years, winning three panoramas. Trevor became interested in the guitar after seeing bands playing during carnival season. TJ eventually bought a box guitar and tried to learn from various people, but thankfully two guys showed him the basics, and he had to figure out the rest on his own. Someone saw TJ with this little box guitar and asked him to join a band. Although TJ did not know much about the guitar, he accepted it. Within a year of being in the band, they were approached by a guy with a recording studio to join him in creating a band with a vision to excel, and that was the formation of Blak Sand, in which he stayed for 10 years, touring places like St Lucia, Grenada, Barbados, Virgin Gorda, Canada, and the USA. Following that, he migrated to the USA to continue his musical journey. Once migrating to the USA, TJ backed up various artists such as Fayann Lyons, Skinny Fabulous, Black Stalin, Lyrikal and many more.
